AUDiTORiUM DU LOUVRE
Medvedkine gives us a satiric comedy, tender and madcap, in Happiness (Le Bonheur in French), a film whose originality and inventiveness were applauded by Eisenstein and Chris Marker.
Following his work Montagnes russes sur la Pnyx that marked the end of his Cursus 2 program at IRCAM, the young composer Sébastien Gaxie associates his passion for film and electronic composition.
Film by Alexandre Medvedkine (1934, 64', black and white, silent, URSS)
Electronic musical creation by Sébastien Gaxie, commissioned by the musée du Louvre
An IRCAM-Centre Pompidou, musée du Louvre (Electrons libres program) coproduction.
With the support of the Sacem.
